Event Summary: On 29th of July, 2025, I delivered a webinar entitled "Cognitive Automotive Sensing Assisted by Joint Radar and Communications". This webinar discussed a cognitive sparse MIMO array for automotive radar. By leveraging vehicle-to-roadside unit communication to perceive the road environment, the system co-designs transmit waveforms and the sparse MIMO array. This integrated approach enables enhanced sensing and high-quality communication simultaneously on shared hardware. The webinar was well-received by and the audiences. Afterwards, the audiences asked some excellent questions.
