AESS Italy Chapter Co-Hosted Workshop on Radar and Remote Sensing

The AESS Italy Chapter has organized, in collaboration with the GRSS Italy Chapters and the GTTI (the Telecommunications and Information Technology Group), the Workshop on Radar and Remote Sensing on the 28th and 29th of May, at the University of Sannio in Benevento, Italy (https://rrsw-radarandremotesensing.com/ ), cosponsoring several events. IEEE GRSS IDEA and IEEE Italy YPs co-sponsored the best poster session. 

Our President, Professor Maria Sabrina Greco, has presented the AESS Society to an audience of +70 people coming from different universities and research centers.

The Chair of the AESS Italy Chapter, Professor Silvia Liberata Ullo, has illustrated the main activities carried out in 2024 and 2025.
Sponsored by the IEEE AESS Society has also been a cultural event consisting of a visit to the ancient part of Benevento. Two archaeologists have illustrated the main historical monuments and among them the Church of Santa Sofia, which became part of the UNESCO Heritage in 2013.
