I graduated from California State Polytechnics University (CALPOLY) in Pomona, California , April 1985 with a Bachelors of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology (BSET).
Upon graduation, I was hired by Boeing Military Airplanes and spent 4 years supporting various military programs like B-1B, Short Range Attack Missile (SRAM). Then I spent time working as a Liasion engineer supporting a variety of commercial, military and aerospace programs; Inertial Upper Stage (IUS).
Searching new expertise, I transferred to the commercial division. Here I supported the 777 section of the team designing a test fixture for the Flaps Slats Electronic Unit (FSEU). Three years later I transferred to the Flight Test Instrumentation group, where I spent about 10 years. I supported mostly 777, but also worked on 757, 767airplanes.
I was hired later by the Aero Noise Propulsion division where I spent my last 7 years as a lead engineer in charge of the Propulsion labs, once again as an Instrumentation engineer.
During my ANP assignment, I was loaned to flight test to support the 747 cargo airplane program. I had the pleasure to support briefly the 787 program and later served as a translator during high altitude testing in La Paz, Bolivia.
I am currently retired living in sunny Phoenix, Arizona.
